فيدورا هو عبارة عن نظام تشغيل مبني على نظام اللينكس ، وهو نظام مجاني دائما ومفتوح المصدر.
نظام فيدورا هو نظام مجاني لأي شخص ليستخدمه او يعدل عليه او يوزعه.
الذي بنى هذا النظام هم مجموعة من الاشخاص من حول العالم ، واي شخص ممكن ان ينظم الى مجتمع فيدورا التكنولوجي.
مشروع فيدورا يقود التطور في عالم الانظمة المجانية والمفتوحة المصدر.

فيدورا هو ليس فقط نظام تشغيل ، انما هو مجتمع متكامل من المطورين والمبرمجين من انحاء متفرقة من العالم.
